FEE PROPOSAL AND BILLING CYCLE
Sketch Creative cannot provide a specific fee proposal based solely on “four digital video concepts” as there are too many variables to each video production. If creative concepts and direction has not been presented, the range of production budget is too broad to accurately propose. Sketch Creative does not offer hourly rates for production, but rather estimates production costs, time to produce, production/post-production expense and factors that into a fixed rate budget based on a per project basis or contracted budget. We don’t provide a generic budget line per services (until we receive creative and lock the project down) because we treat every project as an individual, separate job. The creative needs to be developed to determine how many days, locations, crew, talent, animation, post-production and length of the video. Once we know what the project will entail, we work with our you to provide a detailed breakdown of costs so that we can keep production and post production expenses within the budget, thus potentially saving money that could be used in a different production. We are extremely conservative and cost conscious of budgets with our clients always ensuring we are on track, on schedule and on budget (unless the client requests and approves based on creative direction, etc.).
Our billing cycle is flexible per client. Our typical per project cycle is 50% up front and 50% upon completion of the project. As with any project, we do require that we receive in advance adequate production costs to cover our crew, gear, and location expenses, in order to commence production. If selected for a contracted term, Sketch Creative would require a monthly or quarterly cycled fee dependent on how many videos would be produced in enough time before we would start production on each project. Our hourly rate for non-contracted or fixed project services (such as small edits, fixes or additional, services not quoted) are billed at $250.00 an hour.
Discounts may be applied based on the volume of work, scope of the project and the contracted budget. Again, there are too many unknown variables that could affect applied discounts. Typically, we do use an economy of scale and discount if there are more than one projects within a budget.
